A two-party system that resists all compromise is useless. Three or more strong parties would break the deadlock. It would be imperative to form a coalition to accomplish anything. Additionally, we need to vote out representatives who resist all compromise. They were elected to govern, not posture for their party. The endless campaigning for re-election is a omnipresent distraction as well.
