Ahhh, the vast conspiracy of boomers to hold the younger generations down. Now, I remember signing those petitions to keep the young folk in their place

A couple of questions:

1. I did not get to choose when I was born, did you?

2. I played the hand I was dealt, by the rules and situation in place at the time. What would a Gen Z'er have done differently in my place?

I know that my generation was probably the last to be more successful than their parents, but I had fuck-all to do with it. I want universal health care, free university and good opportunities for all, but I have the same political power I've always had--ZERO. One vote in each election, that's it.

The elite of my generation have done their worst, but I'm far from elite. It might help if the younger generations focused their angst of the right target, but that's not as satisfying as blaming your parents and grand parents.
