Another thing to consider is making it easy for your kids to pick up the pieces when you pass. I recently put together a notebook of everything I consider important. Accounts and passwords went onto a USB drive that's password protected. I i9ncluded our living trust, insurance papers, annuities, etc. We've lived in the same house for almost 40 years so I included maps of underground utilities, shut-off valves, sprinkler/drip network. I wrote a history of all the changes I've made to the house over the years. Basically everything that would pop-up in my mind and keep me awake at night.
