But of course no other generation would have done the same in our place. I played the cards I was delt. Many boomers are living on the street, many are Vietnam vets. I offer no apologies to younger generation who might prefer I and my family were homeless just to make them feel better.

For many generations each newly minted generation was expected to do better than the last. Boomers were the last generation to achieve that outcome. All that abruptly ended with the advent of "Trickle Down Economics." Want a villain, look to the one percent , their tax avoidance and the vast inequality created by lack of regulation, poor tax policy and selfish leadership. I had control of NONE of that.
