Climate change is a global problem. Which is really too damn bad because the bickering nations of the world will never agree to do anything together to address the problem.

--

Everybody points the finger at the "others" claiming it's their fault. You're concerned about China, North Korea, Iran or Russia doing their share. At the same time the U.S. is doing fuck-all so we can't point the finger at anyone. We've even elected a climate denier as president. Drill, baby, drill. Deregulate everything so that our businesses can be more profitable.

--

You're even concerned about our defense industry. Rest assured if our budget ever gets down to a single budget item--our defense budget will get 100 percent of the funding. We already spend more on defense than the next ten countries combined. But let's worry about that. But let's spend more!

--

We will never address climate change because greedy corporations like things exactly as they are and the elite are in control. Nothing highlights that more than our last election.

--

Americans want high wages and low prices, environmental issues were barely mentioned in the campaign--because it a turn off to American voters.

--

But hey, pick on Thunberg for trying to raise awareness. She may as well be talking to a brick wall. By the way, how well do you think she'd be received in Russia, China or North Korea. She probably thought (incorrectly) that she could make more headway addressing democratic countries--instead she's just wasting her breath.

--

Imagine trying to convince dumb-ass Trump of anything that does not line his pocket.

--

Meanwhile the American State propaganda organ Fox News dismisses climate science, calling it a "hoax" and a "religion" used by liberals to control society. They have criticized climate policies and agreements, such as the Paris Climate Accord, arguing that they do little to advance U.S. interests and may harm national security.
