Corporate behavior is very predictable. Cut cost, pollute if necessary to cut costs. No mater what the product or service, no matter what the cost to human life--profit comes first. Look at the tobacco companies. Have they ever given two cents about cancer. Cancer is just an externality, because it does not effect profit. Just like climate change is an externality to the oil companies. Profit is simply more important than everything else. Between poor leadership in government and greedy corporation, we are fucked.
