From WWII to the mid '80s the top marginal tax rate never fell below 70 percent. About 50 years of prosperity, the middle class thrived and inequality was held at bay. I'm not interested in billionaire philanthropy, I want them to pay their taxes. Instead we have Mush and Bezos playing NASA while many are homeless and hungry.
