He should have a shot. I believe he's one of the few honest politicians in Washington. The trouble is that he would have to fight the democratic establishment as well. I think Democratic Socialism is a sound idea. It works in Europe because they had the foresight to understand the harness of capitalism and spend the necessary funds to soften the impact of capitalism on the rank and file workers. So Bernie would have to fight the socialism label as well. I like Bernie, but where are the young leaders? I don't believe our system produces quality leaders, just party hacks.
