How much control does the vice president have over foreign policy--about zero. You want Trump's hands on the nuclear codes? The man's insane and vindictive!

--

There will never be peace in the middle east because the Muslims, Christians and Jews all hate each other. Christians and Muslims have been at each others throats since the crusades. Israel is like a wild animal, cornered on all sides, all they know is war and revenge.

--

I get it. I don't feel represented by either party. I've been an independent for many years. All our government cares about is maintaining the Gross National Product and the economy.

--

We need a strong third party, but we don't have one. I'd gladly join a people's party that would look out for the average American and take real steps to save our environment. I'm also sick of endless war. But we are a warlike nation. We have been involved in some war or conflict for all but about 30 years of our history. Look it up, it's true.

The Green's do absolutely nothing to build support between elections. If they did not pop up every four years you would never even know they exist. And most Americans are totally unaware of them.

--

A third party would end the either/or stalemate that currently exists in Washington, but it's not just the president, Congress plays a big role as well.

--

Any party that hopes to influence national policy must make a impact on congress first. I was a strong supporter of Bernie Sanders, but he never had a change because the Dems would not support an independent.

--

If the members of congress were divided among three parties, it would force compromise. But the Greens have no one in Congress. It's pretty obvious how a petulant Congress can stymie any president. They will absolutely block a new comer without any congressional support.
