I agree. This is good news. Our previous course of continuous growth and expansion is destroying the planet. We need to find new ways of living and a new economic system that thrives on degrowth rather than growth. Several times in both section of this article the author alludes to the meaninglessness of life without work. Look at the rest of the animal kingdom. The extent of work is providing food, shelter and caring for their young. Only humans have created meaningless work as a means of survival.
