I doubt the table is big enough to support 7.9 B humans so I suppose we'll start with a round after round of musical chairs. Each famine or pandemic removing some of the chairs until we reach a sustainable number of humans. Right now, if you take away fossil fuel based nitrogen fertilizer from agriculture we could only feed half the population on Earth.
