I know how you feel. You put a lot of time and effort into your writing. When I read what you publish I gain a deeper understanding of your topic.

What can you convey in a 280-character tweet? An insult, an unsubstantiated opinion? What? Nothing of substance. I’d ban it’s use by politicians. Trump's use of Twitter should have condemned the platform forever. Give me a position paper, not 280 characters of drivel.

Granted 280 characters is probably the average reading tolerance for most Americans, but why should we cater to the low end of the spectrum.

I’ve never had any use for Twitter, and I dumped Facebook during COVID. However, the popularity of those two platforms speaks volumes about the American intellect.
