I pity people who have no concept of "enough." My wife and I are light years away from millionaires but we have "enough." We're healthy. We are retired from work that was rich in intrinsic rewards. We have five grown children and ten healthy grand children. We live in close proximity and see the grand kids on a weekly basis. We stayed in a house that was too small with five kids and now it's too big. I had two careers simultaneously for 20 years, but I always had an exit plan to retire at fifty-five. My wife worked until sixty because she loved her job as a kindergarten teacher. Riches have nothing to do with contentment. Contentment is easy if you understand the concept of "enough." I laugh at the retirement gurus who claim you need at least a million to retire.
