I recently rebuilt my desktop to accommodate the switch. I was perfectly happy with Win10, but did not want to run a machine where the operating system was orphaned. I feel I was forced into the upgrade. If it new OS was not free I probably would have reverted to my Linux machine. I've been quite comfortable with that in the past.
