I think we all have people we look up to in the course of our lifetime, might be a mentor, teacher, friend, relative of public figure (though that's pretty slim-pickens.) I don't think that makes anyone stupid. I'm certainly not talking about some sort of idol worship, simply good examples of human behavior we run into in the course of our lives.
