I would say that our country has succumbed to greed. Greed corrupts every aspect of our government. Our politicians are only concerned with reelection so they can keep their head buried in the trough. The elite want it all and don't want to pay taxes on any of it. As a nation we have lost our way. I lost faith when our population elected a greedy, dumb-shit, reality host for president.
