If left to big business, fossil fuels will not end until the last penny of profit is rung out of it. Now that there alternative modes of transportation it seems like a good time to begin rationing gasoline. Rationing because it effects the rich as well as the poor as apposed to simply raising the price which has no effect on the wealthy, At the same time the government should subsidize electricity to grease the skids for the move to an all electric future. But it will never happen.
