I'm confused.

If we don’t put humans in the equation Earth should still be liveable for a good 500 years and if we do I’d say 100 million maximum with a little luck!
Now, whatever happens, we have to get out of here no matter what if we want humanity to go on after…

I'm confused.
If we take humans out of the equation the Earth should be habitable for 500 years, but leave humans in the equation and you'd say the Earth is good for 100 million more years. Why is that exactly?
