I'm in the process of doing this. I bought a 24 foot Airstream Safari as a restoration project. After restoring the inside and polishing the outside, it mostly just sits. I guess with all our kids grown camping has lost it allure. So I recently plumbed the trailer space with a sewer connection and water, next I'll run a permanent electrical connection to it. Lastly I'm going to get rid of the black water tank and plumb a small flush toilet to the sever line. If I can't rent it I can always use it for overnight guests. Nice article, thanks.
