It seems to me that the those responsible for AI already have one goal--to make a profit from it and the hell with everything else.

What would AI make of Medium if it scraped all it's data from one source? What would be the overarching human priority--GET RICH QUICK!

Do you have any idea how many authors I've had to block to finally stop seeing those get rich quick posts? A first glance at Medium, that's all you see.
