It sure makes me wonder what happened to our country. I have struggled to understand the slavish devotion to Trump. My sad conclusion is that they finally found someone who believes as they believe in and say the things they wish to say. When we elected President Obama, I thought we passed a great milestone in overcoming racism. Now it seems all that we accomplished was to kick the hornet's nest of racism. We have made no progress. It was simply politically correct not to speak of it, hence Trump's war on political correctness, which I have always equated with common decency.
