I've always believed this. I don't have the patience for incremental changes. And I really like AOC. But we live in the U.S. a country and population that has disappointed me greatly. The persistent racism, the worship of a cruel moron like Donald Trump, the push for Christian Nationalism the list goes on and on.

My number one wish is that Trump never sees the political light of day again.

I was going to vote for Biden, to that end.

Now I can actually vote "for" someone for the first time since Obama. I never got a chance to vote for Bernie for president.

Noting the insanity of the U.S. do you really think two women have a chance, at this point in time of winning a national election for president? I'd be all for it, but I've seen the nasty underbelly of this country and it makes me sick.

The same for Pete. I'm all for a woman and a gay man. But look at the reaction to what the election of the first black president brought--a nasty outpouring of racism, hate, and Donald Trump.

The country is far too fucked up for my ideal candidates--but I'll sure settle for two likable liberals, especially if they can restore a bit of unity and hope to what's become the world's richest shit-hole country.
