I've been thinking a lot about the candidates we have to choose from. First I wonder why the candidates are so old. I'd opt for younger candidates. I'm 70 and I sure as hell would not want to be president. Where are the young people? Why do we have ancient people in office making all the decisions? Most of these old farts won't be around in ten years. Very few can afford to run for office, so we are stuck with a pool of rich people to choose from. I don't think wealthy people are in touch with the average person. I have not felt represented for a long time. I explain in a bit more detail in this article, but I think our present system is failing to provide the leadership we need.
