I've come to the conclusion that I don't really like most people. I've always hated the superficial small talk at most gatherings. If I'm lucky I gravitate towards one person an we spend an hour talking about interesting topics. But that is a rare event. I made a good friend at the counter of my favorite coffee shop. I never realized how important Bill was until he died. We'd discuss current events, lament Trump, and share stories. I still miss him dearly. I don't even go to that coffee shop any more.
