I've got 10 grand kids, I'm not cheering on the end of the world. I'm pointing out some of the obstacles. With present technology electricity can not can not reach the temperatures to make cement, forge steel or manufacture solar panels.

Every year demand for electricity grows faster than new renewable resources come online. This year demand is expected to grow by 100 gigawatts while new renewables will come it at 35 gigawatts. So in 21-22 we will be burning 65 more gigawatts fossil fuel produced energy than we did in 2021.

We are not making progress, we are falling further behind. World energy demand is expected to grow by 50% by 2050.
