I've never had much luck training dogs either. My son found this collar that delivers a mild shock via a hand held remote. The cool thing is the shock is preceded by a vibration, or you can trigger the vibration alone. After a couple of mild shocks, the vibration was the only reminder he needed. Just a thought.
