6. Likewise, I don’t need to hang on to and display a gift I don’t really love. I will always appreciate people thinking of me. But if I don’t love the vase, or bowl, or yes, scented candle that someone gives me, I will thank them kindly for it, and promptly place it in the donation box when they leave.

Last summer we put a table in the alley behind our house. What a perfect way to recycle all that unwanted/unused stuff. Sometimes what you can't throw away is quite easy to give away.
