Looks delicious! My wife used to make bran muffins all the time, kind of her go to muffin. She used bran flakes cerea, which used to produce a beautiful dark brown muffin. A couple of years ago something changed, now using the same bran flakes, the muffins come out very pale and don't taste the same. We'll try your recipe, because bran muffins are always our favorite. So many muffins seem more suited for dessert.
