"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." This verse from Hebrews 11:1 seems to justify the believe in anything. If you hope for something, have faith in it, then that's all the evidence that you need.

Ultimately that did not work for me. My religion came down to what I had faith in. As it turns out I did not have even the faith the size of a mustard seed.
