Our leadership selection process is failing democracy--it is not offering up good leaders. I would have canceled the last two presidential election for lack of qualified candidates. Where are the leaders? Wealth does not equate to leadership yet we continue to draw from the same insipid pool of wealthy candidate because they are the only people who can afford the process.
