Social Media has turned out to be a detriment to society. I used to attempt to has conversations on Facebook about politics, especially during the Trump years. About halfway through Trump's term I quit Facebook altogether. I really despise Twitter, at least as a tool for politicians. Trump's use of Twitter was beyond disgusting.

I'll check out "Elimination of Television." Interesting. My wife and I are both teachers. When we married we each had two young children. One of our first decisions was not to own a TV. I have not watched network TV for over 35 years. My wife and I are both avid readers. We chose to promote reading, homework time without to rush to watch “my program” and games. Eventually we got a TV to rent the occasional movie and now we both enjoy a bit of Netflix, but we have never returned to network or cable TV. Thanks for the thoughtful response.
