Someday we will come to the realization that the Earth can't support this many people. With 7.9B people anything we do is too much. So many problems would simple disappear if we walked the world population back to 1 billion, but instead we are looking at ways to feed 12B. Why? How are we better off if we allow the population to continue to grow. Wouldn't a intelligent civilization recognize that a finite planet can not sustain continued growth?
