Sorry, there is no rationale for a Christian voting for Trump. There is no rationale for anyone voting for Trump. He is the most disgusting vile individual I can imagine. He has no morals. I've heard all the excuses. In the final analysis, people voted for Trump because they think like Trump and value what he values. And it was not some Christians, it was the majority of Christians. It was a sickening spectacle.
