Sure if the wealthy one percent is your metric. Otherwise we are plagued by racism, addiction, homelessness, poverty, families struggling to get by, pathetic leadership. Should the strongest nation on Earth have hungry children, living out of their parent's broken down cars? Gun violence? Americans are 26 times more likely to be shot and killed than people living in comparable developed countries. The richest country in the world is the most miserly with health care. Most developed countries health care is free, as is higher education. Twenty-one percent of Americans have no savings. Thirty-seven percent could not afford a $400 emergency medical bill.
