That soups looks delicious! I like the spice and sour combination. Some of the of the spiciest food I've encountered has been of Asian origin. I taught English as a Second Language to elementary school students from Laos. I had a mix of Hmong and Lao. I had them bring recipes from home and we prepared them in class as a vehicle for language acquisition. Once I brushed my eyelid once after handling some of their peppers. Thought my eye would never stop burning.
