This has been a work in progress for over a month and somet days my "Recommended" feed looks pretty good, new authors, interesting stories. But despite never clicking on this shit, Medium cues it up anyway--mute.

One thing I've discovered is that many Medium writers love to write about money, they are infatuated with it, they want to share their wealth, they want you to join their many streams of income and by the way--could you buy me a cup of coffee? How comforting these newfound business tycoons can't affort a cup of joe. Hey man, sign me up! Oh, sorry, that was your main income stream--oops!
