That's what's so amazing, it's not taught in schools. The first step would be teaching an honest straightforward US History and we don't even do that. We teach a white-washed sanitized version of US History. You don't get the real thing until college. My mom used to complain bitterly that we did not say the Pledge of Allegiance in school anymore.

It did not matter that my wife and I were both teachers. It did not matter that we said the pledge every day and that one of the schools did it over the PA system every day. What mattered was that some idiot like Rush Limbaugh claimed we did not.

Had Limbaugh ever set foot in a school, hell no? Would my mom ever come to school to see for herself, hell no? I like these know-it-all parents to find an instance of CTR being taught in school. Most teachers would be hard-pressed to even explain what it means.
