The simplest fix would be to remove the cap of social security payroll deductions. I don't think anyone needs a tax break on income over $142,800, yet that is the 2021 cap. If you are fortunate enough to make over $142,800 you stop paying into SS when you reach that lofty wage.

Most of all I am angry that they will not put a priority on solving the problem so people can plan for their future. Privatize it or fix it, but do something.
