The U.S. fertility rate and that of most developed countries has already fallen below two. We can support the number of people on the planet now, more will make conditions worse.

But rest assured we will do nothing. Humanity has spawned many brillant individuals, but as a whole we are a malignant cancer out of control, dumb as a rock and unable to do anything to help ourselves.
