They may be a minority but it seems they have a mandate--look at all the people who voted for Trump. I couldn't figure it out until I realized he was saying and expressing the repressed feelings of his voters. That makes me sick. If it was just a far white minority it would be one thing. Look how Christians lined up behind Trump. He promised them judges who would allow them to lord their faith over everyone else, look how that’s turning out. Repression of women, repression of minorities, and white supremacy, all stem from the same root. People either believe in a free society or they don't. But it's no longer a free society when one group seeks superiority over the rest.
