They only object to socialism that does not bebefit them. Bailing out corporations and subsidies on oil are fine socialist programs, it's those safety net programs for the average guy that they object to. We did recently end one big $2 trillion socialist program whcih will leave the wealthy elite gasping for breath (or more likely andotherwar).
