To the capitalist there is never enough. There is always the drive for more profit, bigger markets, higher sales. It never ends.
Much of our clothing is made in Bangladesh, where workers earn $120 to $140 per month working six days a week. Is the clothing industry satisfied? Never, instead, major clothing brands constantly demand suppliers in Bangladesh to lower their prices. At the same time, they want their orders processed faster and demand workplace improvements and environmental safeguards, the last two to soothe the western conscious over the plight of abused foreign workers.
