Nobody in either party will do anything about the border because U.S. businesses need the labor. The economy always comes first.

If anyone was serious about the border they would start arresting and seizing the assets of any employer who hires undocumented workers. Instead we round up workers and the offending business hires new undocumented workers the next day.

Unscrupulous employers provide the incentive for illegal emigration. Remove the incentive and you remove the motivation to sneak into the U.S.

But wealthy employers like Trump love the cheap labor to work in his hotels and golf courses so he makes up bullshit about building a wall while 70,000 vehicles and 20,000 pedestrian cross the border at San Ysidro every single day.
