War protest pretty much disappeared with the end of the draft. With no skin in the game America was free to ignore war. There were plenty of protests on college campuses when our generation was being drafted and sent to Viet Nam. All to keep the world safe for democracy. Today, Viet Nam is a communist country, big whoop!
