We can be convinced to pack a "Go Bag" but refuse to elect the representatives who might bring at least attempt to bring about change. It's a sad commentary on our society. There are not enough climate-safe places to save the world, so rather than change our ways, it's run for the hills, arm yourself to the teeth, slam the door and fight off all comers. The American way. I think it's more like a well-deserved extinction.
