Well we already have the solution corporations and the government want--cheap labor. Nothing substantial will be done because cheap labor is good for the economy and the rules.

If you want to slow or stop the flow of immigrants, remove the incentive. Penalize the businesses who hire undocumented workers by confiscating their assets.

Instead we round up the illegals, truck them back to Mexico and replacement undocumented workers are hired the next day. A delightful game of Whack-a-Mole carried out daily. The business might pay a small fine, if anything, but it is obviously not enough to be a deterrent.
