I'm 71 and I retired at 55 as well. I embraced skills as well as education. I'm just as happy remodeling a kitchen as I am coding games in Python. Early retirement allowed time for my youngest son and I to build a food truck together. The project allowed me to pass on my skillset to my son. We also remodeled a water damaged property that is now his home.
