When a person runs for president he's put under a microscope, because the public has a right to know just who they are voting for. Trump paid off hookers to keep them quiet, but under the microscope, that was uncovered. In the course of covering up those escapades Trump had to falsify business records, a felony, by virtue of our laws.

--

But you are not concerned with the crime or the law, just the manner in which he was caught. He was caught under the microscope and was nailed with 34 felonies.

--

But I suppose you would prefer to be kept in the dark.

The opposite of rule of the law is might makes right. The mighty would prefer not suffer penalties for any wrong doing if they get their way.
