When they confiscated Jeff's computer I spear headed the effort to collect every computer on campus and me and another English teacher unloaded them on the steps of the district office while a local reporter looked on.

To get a perspective, read the comments attached to the original article. Several are from former students and one was from a fundraising rep who attested to the funds raised during our annual Magazine Drive. Another met Jeff Sloan at a conference where he was presenting.

I got up at a school board meeting and challenged the superintendent. I also confronted him with his thesis: How to Get Rid of a Tenured Teacher. Basically he advocated making their life miserable. He was very good at that.

I also had a friend who was a computer security a computer forensic specialist. He was unable to find any hint or link to pornography which the district claimed was the reason them confiscated his computer.
