Yep, corporations thrive on growth and expansion. Degrowth is equivalent to throwing a blanket over a fire. Degrowth will force a new economic model and is in my opinion the only long term solution to climate change. Our population growth has pushed past the limits of what the Earth can support. In fact we have artificially pushed well past the natural limits. Without fossil fuel derived fertilizers we could not feed half our population.
